[ARCHIVED] Grade Sync & Last Day Attended

Two related questions about Grade sync & Last Day Attended (LDA): this summer term, our campus will be syncing grades with our SIS for the first time-

1. Does the grade sync also include the data on the "last day attended"?
2. Canvas Guides indicates "If your institution is using Profiles, this feature (LDA) is not currently supported." Does anyone know why this is so and whether there are plans to change this?
   • To resolve this, can we disable Profiles during the week grades are due? 
   • Any other suggestions for entering LDA?
