Is there any way to pull up a document in speed grader and then use my tablet screen with a stylus to correct the paper, rather than using the tool bar?

Hi Michael -

YES! If you haven't already downloaded Canvas Teacher, I encourage you to do so. You'll love being able to use your stylus to draw right on top of student submissions. It's available for iOS and Android devices.

I successfully got the app on my phone :smileylaugh:

How can I get it on my lap top?  I have a Leveno flex and can use it in tablet mode.  Any ideas?

If your laptop is a Windows device, I wonder if you could use the "annotation" tool with your stylus right from the web. I should try that with my Acer Spin!

I have a Surface Pro. Our university just switched from BlackBoard to Canvas. It took BlackBoard too long to give stylus support, but they finally had it. Now I'm back to practically inoperable pen input. Grading 2 page reports is taking me FOREVER and my writing looks like a kindergardner's. Pen input is not a new computer technology. You know that teachers and professors will be doing grading of essays. Why do you have a pen icon if yo didn't expect it? Making a transition from one platform to another is difficult enough. Now this just another insult. I am not impressed and am incredibly frustrated.
