Canvas and Mastery are experiencing issues due to an ongoing AWS incident. Follow the status at AWS Health Dashboard and Instructure Status Page
For the past couple weeks, since January 3rd, the Canvas Gradebook hasn't been working on my MacBook or iMac with Safari.
The only way I can get it to work is if I open up the Developer menu, go to Javascript console, and reload that part of the page. The error is says is: "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()"
This does not seem to be a Safari issue. Something has changed on the backend with Canvas. Please help.

@sbarhoum , since you've using an up-to-date version of Safari and have already cleared your cache, we have reached the limit of our ability to troubleshoot this from afar. Would you please follow up on this with Canvas Support so a support agent can look directly at the environment and device? (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?)
@sbarhoum ,
Welcome to the Canvas Community!!!
I am also a fellow Mac user (since 1997 actually) and I find that Safari is just not that user friendly when it comes to Canvas. I have had much better luck with Chrome as my primary browser and Firefox as my backup.
Have you tried using Chrome on your Mac to access Canvas?
Robbie
I used Chrome at first but it had a glitch where it would keep popping back up to the top of the screen when I tried to scroll down. I've been using Safari since June without any issues and now I have way too much time invested in quick lists and other bookmarks. I don't want to have to use another browser for just one website which worked fine up until three weeks ago.

Everything works great now...thanks!
