I'm trying to link my email and my school's phone number through icons on a contact page. I've looked through the raw html editor for any problems that might be causing this. It works just fine when I click the icons on my computer. However, when I test the icons on the Canvas app, I get redirected to my dashboard for both the email and phone.
Is there a different way to link to contacts in the app with html?

Thanks for sharing. It appears there is an issue with the app. I would suggest you report an issue inside the app under the help menu so the support team can create a ticket. Thanks!
This is an interesting question. So you are using the "mailto:" and "tel:" attributes to have the device open the correct email client and phone app? I'm not sure if this will work in the app. In fact, when I just tried it, I got an error. Let me know how you are trying to do this, even feel free to share a screenshot of your code. Thanks.
Here is how it looks now. You'll see where I added the disclaimer for mobile users. If you hold down the icon on the app, it does open up a menu to call or email. But, it ONLY works if you hold it down, not just a single tap.
