We're going to need some more information from you.  Are you an instructor or a student?  Where are you trying to upload a picture?  To your Canvas profile?  To a content page in your course?  If you are a student, are you trying to upload a picture to a discussion topic reply or as an assignment submission?  These are just some of the many places I can think of where you could upload a picture.  So, any additional information from you would be helpful so that we can help guide you in the right direction.  Thanks!  Take care, stay safe, and be well.

I am having a similar issue.

I am using Mozilla and the software is up to date. When I attempt to upload a jpeg image, it shows up blank or pure white. I have not had this issue prior to this evening.

Where are you trying to upload a JPG image?  Are you an instructor?  A student?  Can you give some more details as well?

I am an instructor.

When I upload an image, using Mozilla Firefox, the image shows up blank or plain white. It does not embed. I had not previously had this issue when posting assignments and need to remedy this situation as it is an art class with image examples.

Thanks for the additional information.  Have you tried a different browser...such as Google Chrome...to see if you get different results?  Or, have you tried clearing your browser's cache, closing the browser, and then re-logging in to Canvas to see if the issue still exists?

If after trying these things, you are still experiencing issues, I would recommend that you contact the folks at the Canvas Help Desk.  How do I contact Canvas Support?
