How do I set up my classes in canvas?

Hi Carla,

Are you using the "free for instructors" Canvas at canvas.instructure.com, or are you using your school's Canvas server?

If you're using your school's Canvas server, they may have a process for creating Canvas course.  At my school, for instance, we automatically create course shells for all the courses in the course schedule, and automatically add the instructors and students into them.

Regardless of whether you are using the "free..." Canvas or your school's version, most of the functionality within Canvas is pretty much the same.   @kona ‌ has a open online Canvas of Instructors course linked atCanvas Instructor Training and Student Orientation , which you may find helpful.
