[ARCHIVED] Hiding grades feature - bug or intentional dysfunction?

How do I use the hide grade feature to actually hide the grades?  The only way to use the hide grades feature is to first enter the grades.  Then hide grades will hide those grades.  however, any grades not entered yet are not hidden.  They have to first be entered and then they can be hidden.  Plus if you change a grade value it goes from hidden to unhidden.  Mute grades in the previous notebook was a lot better - it actually worked the way it should.  It kept grades muted until the instructor decided to let the students see their grades.

My mistake for not first searching the Q&A.  In my opinion it is a much worse option than the old mute.
