How long do Conferences last once you create them? Is 14 days the maximum and then you lose them? I wanted to create some Conferences (ppts and talking) that students can use any time during the semester (and possibly other semesters). Is this the right feature to use?

Jeanine,
I think you can create conferences scheduled for any point in the future. The 14 day limit is for recordings if you record them. But, I think if you make a conference it only gets used once, and then is "closed". Students should have the ability to make their own conferences though so it sounds like you could just let them do that and create them as needed throughout the semester without you have to set them all up for them.

Thanks, Rick.
I will continue to look for someway to create videos for my students that will last longer than 14 days.
