[ARCHIVED] How can I automatically enroll a student in their own section of a self-driven training course?

We have an orientation course that we want all students to be automatically enrolled in upon account creation. Is there a way, either directly in Canvas or with the aid of the SIS, that students can be automatically enrolled rather than manually enrolled?

Hi @KateKodet 

What process are you using for account creation?  If you're creating accounts via a feed or API call from your SIS system, you could add another section feed and enrollment feed to create a new section in the orientation for each student and then enroll them in it.

Hi @c_woods 

If you are using your school's/institution's Canvas server, any kind of automatic enrollments based on information from your Student Information System (SIS) would need to be set up by your Canvas administrator.
