[ARCHIVED] How can I synchronize local and course time?

When I set the assignment due date and time, canvas displays local time and course time which disturbs me. How can I get rid of that?

If the course time is different from the student's local time, they will be able to see both, so it should be clear to them when their assignment is due in their own local time.  That is not something that can be disabled.
