[ARCHIVED] How can I use established rubrics for grading?

I made a rubric that I wish to use for all assignments of a particular type. When I go into the assignment and click "+ Rubric", there is the check box to use this rubric to grade the assignment. However, if I check that box and then click "Find Rubric" to select my pre-made rubric, that check box disappears. When I did a test grade, the rubric does not transfer points to the assignment. How can I correct this? I would like to actually use my rubric for direct grading.

Solved my own problem right after posting. For those who run into the same issue, after I added my rubric to the assignment, I then had to click on the pencil icon to edit the rubric. From there the checkboxes reappear below the criterion.
