Is there a way to insert a picture into a quiz without using the embed feature? It is a jpg file that I have stored on my computer that I would like to add to a quiz and I can't seem to find how to do that.
Solved! Go to Solution.
As Lisa said, it depends on which version of quizzes you are using. In Classic quizzes you need to upload the jpegs into your Files at the course level. Then you can insert an image through the RCE using those files. If you're in New quizzes, in the RCE, you can click the insert media button and just drag and drop your jpeg in!
Are you trying to add the picture as one of the answer choices or just within the question? Are you using New Quizzes or Classic Quizzes?
Thank you for the reply Lisa. I am using the "free" version of Canvas so I assume I have the Classic Quizzes. I am trying to upload an image as part of a test question. Another user suggested I upload the jpeg into my files at the course level. I am going to try to figure out how to do that now. Thank you again for your quick reply!

Thanks Jen. I've literally just started using Canvas yesterday so I'm pouring through all of the tutorials and reading lots of questions in the community. I am using the "free" version so I would assume I have the Classic Quizzes. I will try to upload my image as you suggested. Thank you very much for the reply!
You are very welcome! And also, welcome! ![]()
