Hi Karen,

Thank you Rick, I do not have the assignment button, instead I have 'grades' .......is this the same button?  Sorry I'm not very good with technical stuff....K

It's a different button but it should still work.  Click on Grades, then click on the Assignment you need to submit.  Once on that assignment page there should be a Submit button if your instructor has it set up for online submission.

I have tried that but it always asks for a file but I do not have a file and I cannot see how to get a file?

You'll probably need to talk to your instructor then because it sounds like the assignment is set up for files to be submitted.
