How do I upload a file (my new syllabus) into my course and then link it in the syllabus page?

To answer your question, I would first recommend taking a look at these Canvas Guides:

- How do I upload a file to a course?

In terms of utilizing the Syllabus feature in canvas, I would have you look at this guide first and then follow the directions above to upload a digital copy of your syllabus to the course. Then I would simply link in that file to the Rich Content Editor of the Syllabus page.
