I'm setting up my courses for the semester and it looks like the app functionality of attendance has changed. It used to have a mobile friendly interface when I pulled it up on the app, but that has now disappeared and it looks just like the desktop site even when I open it in the app.
I also have a course that I copied from last semester and that one is displaying in the app just fine. Images attached. It seems like something is different in the setup perhaps because even the symbol for "Attendance" is different (now shows "LTI" whereas before it has a hand symbol on the menu. Screenshots attached). Is there a fix for this? I couldn't find any settings that were different between the two courses to make them display differently like this.
@c_lapan ,
This is quite interesting. As you said, even though the Attendance Tool is technically an LTI, it seems like the app is truly treating it as an LTI, which opens it in a web view instead of the native view. My only suggestion is to submit a ticket to your tech support to look at this issue more closely. It could be an issue with the app, your specific course, or a configuration somewhere. When I tested this on an Android device, I got the native view with the LTI icon. I wish had more direction for you, but let us know if you solve this. Thanks.
