How does Canvas organize a course with multiple instructors who teach only part of the course for a specified length? For example, 3 instructors teach 4 weeks over a 12-week course?

@cynthia-hernand , I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're asking because Canvas doesn't really dictate how courses are set-up for a situation like this. I can tell you that for our team taught courses we have the entire course and all Instructors in one course shell and each Instructor creates their own content in the Course Modules. This way there is only one course and all content is in that course. Each Instructor goes into the course and does their part when needed. We leave all Instructors in the course and don't remove them, even if their part of the course is done. This way if they need to go back and double-check something or answer a question they can.
Hope this helps!

To build on this question, it would be beneficial to be able to "assign" grading rights to specific instructors when a course has multiple. For example, my institution uses Canvas to facilitate student teaching assignments/evaluations which require two different instructors' input on different rubrics (one instructor does a midterm eval, the second instructor does the final eval., etc.). That way, there's no confusion with who is responsible for what. Might help with Cynthia's question, too. LiveText has a feature which allows users to be assigned to the grading of a specific assignment (by the admin).
