[ARCHIVED] How to cancel a file already uploaded

I was suposse to recive a document from a group of students but, before I made the groups, a student uploaded de file and now, I can`t make the task to be given in groups.

Is there any option to cancel this uploaded file and make the groups?

Not really.  Once a file has been submitted to an assignment it's not possible to change the Group Assignment setting, and there is no real way to remove a submission.  I suggest duplicating the Assignment, setting the new copy up right away to be a group assignment, and then just deleting the original.  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-11793-how-do-i-duplicate-an-assignment
