[ARCHIVED] How to delete group assignments.

I am just starting with Canvas and am testing its various canvas features. In Assignment, I created a group assignment for testing. How do I erase that group assignment? I click on the hotdog menu of that group assignment, and there is the option to delete it. But, after I deleted it, it is still there. Thanks.

Sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here for many months without a response.  When you say "group assignment", are you saying that you created an assignment group using these directions?  How do I add an assignment group in a course? - Canvas Community  Or, are you saying that you created a single assignment and then set the properties for that assignment such that it would be a group assignment for your students (for example, you have five groups of four students)?  Even though the "group" terminology is the same, the functionality is quite different.  So, if you could help provide any clarity, that would be great...thanks!  Take care...be well.
