[ARCHIVED] How to embed from youtube without 'copy link' function?'

Hi, I have made a video recording of me reading a story, however it is 7 minutes long. So CANVAS wont allow me to add that as file size is to big. I also tried snipping the video into 3 parts, but one is 3 mins long and still wont allow. 
I have then uploaded to Youtube. However for privacy reasons, I do not want the 'copy link' or Youtube button in the embedded video to be able to clicked on and taken to Youtube. 

So is there:

a: A way around file sizes for embedding files from my device

or

b: A way to embed the video with out any buttons that can take students back to youtube

Welcome to the Canvas LMS Community‌! Do you have access to your Canvas "Studio" from the account navigation panel? Check out the Canvas Guides: Studio. Here you will find a plethora of information on how to upload YouTube videos, MP4 media, etc. 

Once uploaded to your Studio, media can be added to Module > Content Pages directly from the editor toolbar. See this Canvas Instructor Guide: How do I use Canvas Studio through the Rich Content Editor?.

My page does not have studio, how do I gain access to studio?

Hi  @kylie_wrankmore   Studio is an add-on feature to Canvas that your institution may not subscribe to.  We do not have Canvas Studio at my institution but do have Panopto which has similar functionality.  Your might want to contact the IT group at your institution to see what suggestions they have.  You all may have a video streaming service or perhaps even a steaming server that the clips can be placed on in lieu of YouTube or Vimeo that normally provide a sharing option.  

On YouTube you can make a video private.  In that case you would need to add anyone who you want to view the video and that individual must be logged in to their YouTube account in order to access the video.  This restricts who can/cannot view the clip but it takes a while to set up the restrictions and isn't helpful in situations where an individual does not have a YouTube/Google account.
