#1 I had a quiz in assignments, but decided to delete assignment. The quiz was also deleted. Can I get it back.

#2 When I want to delete an assignment, how do I prevent from deleting it in my modules, quizzes?

1. Try the tips in Undeleting things in Canvas‌; if that doesn't successfully restore the deleted assignment, ask Canvas Support to help (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?‌)

2. Deleting an assignment deletes whatever links are associated with it: modules, calendar, course activities list on the syllabus. Once it's deleted, those links have nowhere left to go. However, modules are just a content wrapper, so the link to an assignment can be removed from the module without deleting the assignment itself.
