[ARCHIVED] I don’t have an “attendance” Tab

I want to track my students’ attendance through Canvas, but I can’t because I don’t even have an attendance Tab. I went to the Settings and then the Navigation tab as the other people suggested, but I don’t have an attendance button to add either... What do I need to do to get an attendance button?

Hi  @m_obara ...

You may need to speak with your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning / eLearning department to see if they've done anything to hide the "Attendance" button from courses in your school's Canvas environment.  Community members here wouldn't be able to help troubleshoot this because we don't have access to your school's Canvas environment or your course in question.  So, speaking with someone at your school will be your best option.
