Hello,
I am learning the "New Quizzes" and have come across a few questions. I have set my grade to complete/incomplete. Is there a way to set it to complete only if they make a 70 or higher? Also, when using speed grader, I found that I couldn't update the grades on the right hand side above the comment section in the new version. It is grayed out and not clickable. I also see that Accessibility doesn't show up on the new quizzes. Please HELP!
Hi, @kmatthe1 . I'll be honest I haven't used New Quizzes a lot, but my understanding on complete/incomplete grade type for an assignment is that if the students take the quiz, it will give them all the points the quiz is worth. To answer your second question, quizzes award grades based on the point value of the questions and so you can't manually change a student's score on a quiz. Their score is based on how they performed on the quiz.
I have the same issue. I set up a "new" Canvas quiz as complete/incomplete. If they get a 10/10, Canvas will automatically mark it as complete. If they get a 9/10 or an 8/10, etc., there is no way for me to mark it as complete without leaving Speedgrader and going to the Gradebook view. The "Complete/Incomplete/Ungraded" pull down menu is grayed out while using Speedgrader in complete/incomplete mode. Has anyone discovered a fix for this???
I'm guessing they haven't fixed this. I'm still having this same issue.
