I'm not sure if you realized it or not, but you posted your question to the global Community of all Canvas users. As such, we don't have access or information about class nor can we review logs to see if the homework you submitted actually finished submitting.  For this type of question you'd want to contact Canvas Support directly and reach out to your teacher or your schools help desk for further assistance with this.
