Hi,
I had a problem with uploading image on the home page of my course. I followed the standard steps, in which I uploaded the image first on the course file and then added the image to the home page. But when I accessed the home page, there was a second of pause before the image showed up, just like the animation effect in PowerPoint presentation. The effect looks awkward. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

It may be that your image is a large file and is taking a while to load. You can reduce the size of the image or compress the image to see if that helps the load time. These guides might help,
