The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December.

A couple of days ago, images on my pages stopped displaying and show alt. text instead. This happened for all of my old Canvas courses and the one I am currently developing for the summer session. I am heavily dependent on the ability to show images. Is there a problem with Canvas?
Have you tried clearing your cache using this guide? Have you tried another browser to see if it happens there? Are the images still located in your course files? There is currently no issue in Canvas that I am aware of that should be causing this for you.
