I have both a free for teachers account and an institutional account. I would like to export a course from my institutional account to my fft account, but the course is over 500mgs. I tried to import hoping to just choose which items to import but it didn't work. Is there a way to choose certain items to export?

@erika2  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

You will probably need to reduce the size of the course in your institutional account before attempting to bring it into Free For Teachers (FFT). If your school allows instructors to create their own course shells, you can use the Select Content feature to choose the items to import to bring its size below 500mb; you can then export the now-reduced-in-size course content into a new .imscc package and import it into your FFT account. If your school has disabled instructors' ability to create empty course shells, ask the local Canvas admin if they would create one on your behalf.
