With legacy quizzes, the answer is no. If the questions are in a question group and then you only have to change the points for each question group.

Depending on your setup, you may not need them all to be 100 points, though. If the quizzes are in an assignment group and you want them to all be worth the same, then it doesn't matter what they are worth individually (100, 50, 15, or 5 points), as long as they're the same as each other.

They are in assignment groups; however, our building has a department that wants each test to be worth 100 points.  We currently use an 80% (summative) and 20% (formative) grading scheme.  Yes, all quizzes fall in that 80%, but this department also wants all tests to be 100% to place equal value and importance on each test.

They did not want to have to manually type in the point values and do the calculations and they did not want to have to turn the scores into percentages.  I was hoping there was a faster way.

As  @James ‌ said, the easiest way to attain your goal would be to use question groups.

To say a little more about the question groups ...

Even if you're not using question groups right now, you could make a question group and drag all of the questions on the quiz into that question group. You set the number of questions and the point values on the question group to make it be 100 points.  50 questions worth 2 points each. 25 questions worth 4 points each.

30 questions worth ... oops, we don't get 100 points this way. Canvas rounds to 2 decimals, so 100/30=3.33 points. But 30*3.33 = 99.9 points. You would need to make 2 question groups. One has 20 questions worth 3.33 points each and one has 10 questions worth 3.34 points each.

Using question groups can make other things (like analysis) more challenging. It also means that the questions will be presented in different order for each person. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but if there are questions that need manually graded, you may want to leave them outside a question group.

Also, with question groups, the questions within the group can't have different point values. So if some are intentionally worth more, you'll have to keep them separate.

You could write a program that would adjust the point values through the API. That's probably going to take longer than it would to go through and manually adjust all of the point values.

Since you're already using question groups, it's a lot less adjusting than individual questions. Math is good, but automated is easier.

I need to make my exams (quizzes) worth the same 100 point value. Is this the best was to do it, i.e., have groups for each quiz that add up to 100. Is there way to do this with the newer version of quizzes? Last time I checked, it didn't seem like our Canvas subscription has access to this new feature.

Since the exams have already been created and administered, my workaround is to create dummy exams that are worth 100 point each, and turn the actual exams into practice exams that won't count towards the course grade. I also need to drop the lowest one.
