[ARCHIVED] Is there a way to delete a student's submission of an assignment?

A student completed an assignment - it was actually a Canvas quiz -and for whatever reason, the teacher is allowing him to retake the quiz.  Is there a way to completely delete his original assignment/quiz with the resulting effect that it should look like he never took it before?  Thanks.

To my knowledge, there isn't a way to delete a submission of a quiz by a student.  The best resources I can give you are around moderation of the quiz...depending on which version of Quizzes you are using:

• Once I publish a quiz, how do I use the Moderate Quiz page?

• Once I publish a timed quiz, how can I give my students extra time?
