Is there an easy way to copy a Module into all courses in a subaccount? The courses already have their own content, I just need this module added into every course.

Hi. If you have not looked into Blueprint classes yet, you should. This is what we are going to use to have a primary template that pushes content (locked and unlocked for changes) into many class shells. I don't see any reason that you cannot just have a single module in a Blueprint class that pushes out vs. having to import into every class separately.

Hi Susan - thank you for your reply. We already blueprint all our courses. We build a Master Course (parent), fill it with content, then blueprint it to all the various sections (children) of that course. Some new policies recently came out that only apple to our College of Business. Since all Business courses are in their own subaccount, I was hoping for a way to push out a module to every course in that subaccount. You can not (apparently) have a hierarchy of blueprints, nor can course have more than 1 blueprinted parent. Unfortunately, I do not want to rely on faculty copying this module from the commons.

Since it sounds like you need an immediate solution I would probably do a course copy into a new course shell, add the relevant materials for the business school, then use that new course as a Blueprint for the relevant courses. Long term you may prefer an API based solution involving Commons or to have multiple Blueprints supported by API/CSV associations, but making a second slightly different Blueprint course could be done in a matter of minutes and will at least get you off and running.

Hi Kelley -- I appreciate your reply. I was hoping for a quick and cost effective ($0) solution, since our classes start Monday.

Oh well. At least our programmers are now more interested than ever to learn APIs.
