[ARCHIVED] Lost grades can I recover them?

Had an exam on canvas close May 1 at midnight. I went to reopen the exam for one student and have it due tomorrow at 10 pm, I assigned it to the one student then saved. Now all the grades from the other students are "gray" and show nothing in speed grader. What in the world have I done? Is there a way to recover those exam grades?

Hi,  @bstevens2  Welcome to the Canvas Community! That is definitely distressing, but fortunately, the fix should be easy. When you added the student, did you delete Everyone? If you navigate back to the settings for the assignment and reinstate Everyone, students' grades should all come back.
