How do I make CANVAS Files visible to students?

Hello  @dcaner  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  If you are wanting to make your "Files" course navigation button visible to your students, you can do this by following the instructions in this Guide: How do I manage Course Navigation links?

Many instructors choose to leave the "Files" area of their course hidden from students, however.  Instructors build their course content (including links to files) via the course "Modules".  You can link to course files from your "Files" screen, or you can even link to files within your course pages.  Here are a couple additional Guides on how to do both of these:
