We are just getting started with Canvas -- our first round of online courses are based on Module navigation (we just imported 50 courses from Blackboard) and we are hiding most everything else on the menu except Chat, Announcements, Grades.  Might add Collaboration back in for some of them.

My question/discussion topic is this: Since Home is set to Modules, doesn't it make sense to simplify further and also hide the Modules button?

Some of our faculty do this to cut down on the confusion, some don't. Personally when I use Canvas to teach I have Modules as my home and hide it from navigation.
