[ARCHIVED] Missing functionality in the Canvas app

I use Canvas through my high school on both a laptop and through the canvas app on an iPad. In the past, I have been able to access notes, assignments, and quizzes through both devices. When I accessed my new Canvas classes when school started this week, I found that many assignments are accessible only through the computer, and that they are visible but "greyed out" on the app. I used to have the same access functionality on both devices, using the web browser or the app. Now I can only open some files on the web browser and not the app. How can I fix this?

Hello Maya,
You will want to ask your instructor about where the assignments are coming from. If they are coming from an external tool or publisher site, they may not be accessible via the app.
However, you can use Safari (or Chrome, etc.) on your iPad to access Canvas, and it should behave the same way that it does on your desktop.
