[ARCHIVED] Missing questions tab when trying to regrade a quiz

Hello,

I am trying to regrade a quiz. I have followed the instructions: open quizzes, click on the options icon and click the edit button. As can be seen in the image, I am missing the questions tab. I have details and mastery tabs only. I have tried to regrade quizzes in different courses but I am missing the tab in those courses as well. 

Any ideas how I can recover the tab?

I understand that you are not seeing the questions tab when you visit the edit page for your quiz.

Do you know if you are using the new quizzes engine for this? If so, the directions are little bit different. You would need to scroll down to the bottom of the edit screen and click on the "Build" button to visit your questions on the quiz. From there you can go in and edit the questions set up on the quiz. You can also access the build screen by clicking on the three dots for the quiz.

Hello,

I am using the new quiz engine. When I access the questions within the quiz and attempt to change the answer within the editor/builder I receive the following message:

Some students have already submitted answers for this item! You can apply your edits to a copy of this item which will only be seen by students that have not taken the assessment.

CancelEdit a Copy

Will the edited copy when saved, trigger a regrade for the students who have taken the quiz? (all students have taken the quiz at this point). The above message doesn't inspire confidence this will occur. If not, how do I regrade the quiz with after fixing the error within the new quiz engine?

Hello,

I stumbled on the answer. To Regrade. 1. Click on People to bring up the grade book. 2. Click on a student name the last graded assessments will appear. 3. Click on the assessment you want to regrade. (hover over the bar chart to the right of the screen and the assessment names appear) 4.The quiz will load with the selected answers byf the student you have selected. Scroll down to the question you wish to regrade and you will notice a regrade button on the bottom of the question. Push it to regrade. A warning and regrade selection box will appear. All students who have taken the exam are regraded.
