How do I move a course from the bottom of my courses to the top or to another position in the navigation menu bar?

Hi Margaret,

If you are talking about the list of courses you see when clicking on the Courses icon on the left side of Canvas, I don't believe you can because that list appears to be strictly in alphabetical order.  On your Dashboard when seeing the courses you can change how they display by dragging them to a different location or clicking the 3 dots on the course card and selecting Move.  

It possible to remove courses from that courses list by managing a list of favorites.  Only the favorites will display on the Dashboard and on the courses global navigation https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12896-how-do-i-customize-my-courses-list-as-an-instructor

Dear Rick,

Thank you for this information. I want you to know that I will certainly try to follow these directions and I will let you know if it works or not. Have not had a chance to try it as yet, but I do plan to try it today.
