I have been having issue with NearPod integrated assignments not showing as complete for select students on their gradebook/Speed Grader in Canvas. Other students, it works fine, but only some students are not showing up at all.
From videos students have sent me, they are submitting the lesson and completing the lesson the same way as the other students, but Canvas is not recognizing their Nearpod as completed and does not send the results.
Does anyone have some ideas of how to fix this?
Thanks

Based on what I have seen, the pattern seems to be if the students are not using Chrome and an updated browser/computer, the replies do not go through.
Were you able to find a solution for this? I've been searching the community for others that have had similar experiences (and maybe solutions), but haven't come across any.

That is great information for others to know. Thank you for sharing that.
Browsers can be such tricky things.
That can't be the solution to this problem. I am also running into this issue with my students and I have verified that they are using Chrome and their browsers are updated. There must be another reason.
Has anyone been able to help with this. It creates a lot of grading problems!!
Thank you in advance. 🙂
We are experiencing this issue as well. However, I am confused how the web browser would impact speedgrader if students are completing Nearpod embedded in Canvas through an LTI in the app?
I have a similar issue except specifically with the video questions feature. My students are using iPads with the Chrome Browser or the Canvas app and they are able to submit a slides assignment with quizzes, drawings and other features and their participation is showing up in Canvas when we use the external tool feature. But I created a video with embedded questions and attached it to an assignment the same way in Canvas and my students' results are not showing up. Does anyone have any ideas for a fix?
@rodentia4444 I had run into this problem as well with interactive videos not syncing back to speedgrader. I reached out to their support team for more clarification around why this is and there are a subset of assignment types in Nearpod that do not sync back to Canvas' SpeedGrader. All other assignments will sync back with SpeedGrader once the assignment is completed by the student.
These activities will not contribute towards a participation score as they are considered web-based activities that yield web-based reports. To view the results for these activities, go to SpeedGrader to access the Nearpod report. Hope this helps!
I am having this issue. About 25% of my students do not receive the speedgrader nearpod report even though they appear in the nearpod post session report.
Same.
