[ARCHIVED] New Chrome apps will be available only on Chromebooks

I ran across this article, and thought it would be worth sharing.

Personally I use several Chome apps, most relevant to this group might be Postman, or DHC.

I found reference to this in several places as a sanity check:

Thanks for the heads up! I've been using Chrome for Mac with many apps for a while now, so this is going to be a blow to workflow, esp. Postman. I guess I'll start exploring other applications that can replace and make the change well in advance.

The Postman folks address this issue here​. They have native Windows and Mac apps available now, with Linux coming soon.
