As of March 10, 2021 I stopped receiving notifications from my Parent Canvas account with not changes to Account Notification Settings. My husband still receives from his account. I've checked junk/spam and nothing there. I'm mostly concerned with e-mails from teachers and course announcements. Any suggestions to fix?

I'm sorry that this is happening to you! Those notifications are really helpful when coaching a student.
First, double-check your notification preferences, just in case.
How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an observer?
If those look fine, take a look at your email address under contact information. Make sure that those are in good standings.
How do I add contact methods to receive Canvas notifications as an observer?
If you see a little warning (❗) next to your primary email, send a ticket to your local canvas Administrator. They will then need to forward the ticket to Support at Instructure to "clear" your email and to restore your notifications. This has happened for a few students and observers where I teach, and we've been able to clear it up quickly!

I'm having the exact same problem. I suddenly stopped receiving all Canvas notifications as of Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Like the OP, my email address is a hotmail address. I have missed several important emails in the last week because of this. I checked my junk folder and there's absolutely nothing there. My husband is still receiving his Canvas notifications. I finally added a different email address to get the Canvas emails, but it is not the address I wish to receive them. I deleted the original hotmail address and attempted to re-ad it back to my account, but I am not even reeiving the registration confirmation email from Canvas. Please help, I've spent several hours on this to no avail.
My notifications (I'm a parent of a Canvas student) suddenly stopped 1 week ago too. My settings have been set to receive all notifications. Why did it stop and how do I start getting notifications again? I do not see an exclamation mark (!) next to my primary email address so I'm not sure what's wrong. I had already reached out to the school administrator but haven't gotten any answers.
A year later and nobody has ever bothered to fix this problem for me. So infuriating.
