I am an observer and I get all sorts of notifications about active events like assignments being graded.
What I would like to do is get notifications when due dates are missed for assignments, quizes, tests, etc.
I had one other parent tell me that this is possible, but I don't see how to do this in the configuration for notifications.

Hi Kurt -
To adjust your notifications, you can visit the settings section of your account. This lesson will be a great starting place: How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an observer?
However, the "missing" assignment notification comes with the Canvas Parent app. This lesson will help you with alerts, which are different than the notifications that can be set through the browser: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-9897-59347560930 These alerts specific to the (blue) Canvas Parent app and do not affect the notifications you have set to go to email or SMS.
