During this pandemic, many parents have asked if there is a way they can be notified directly when there child doesn't turn in an assignment. Parents are overwhelmed by the Canvas page as it is and this would be a great asset to have, especially if we aren't "back to normal" come fall. Powerschool does this and it's helpful to stay on track with students. I've not found anything that indicates parents can set up notifications (I'm a parent and a teacher) and would love to know if this exists.

Families can customize their alerts/notifications on a student-by-student basis as well. It's a great tool to have while coaching students.
