If you will go to that person's profile, then click on the pencil (edit) icon for the box labeled Login Information, you can change a SIS-created password.

The response from @amanda_hood is right on track. I wanted to also provide a link to the Guide which will walk you through the same steps: How do I manage a user's login information in an account?. Scroll down to the section on "Edit Login", and that's where you'll find info on user passwords.
