[ARCHIVED] Prerequisites in Assignments

I want to assign a video for students to watch in its entirety before they move on to the next assisngment.  I know I can add prerequisites in Modules but not Assignements?  Am I missing someting?

Prerequisites in assignments is not an available function in Canvas. There is something called Mastery Paths which might be the next best thing for you though. Take a look at the MasteryPaths guides located at the bottom of the Modules section for Instructors.

You could, however, use prerequisites and requirements in modules to make students move through assignments in sequential order. If you set up some modules with just the assignments you wanted the students to work through you force users to complete the requirement for the previous item before unlocking access to the next.
