[ARCHIVED] Presentation Sign ups

Is there a place that I can have students sign up to give presentations in class?  I want to have them sign up for presentations before they come to class.

Hi  @edmondsa  Welcome to the Canvas Community. Yes; Canvas has a very cool tool called Scheduler that ties into the Calendar in Canvas IF your institution has enabled it.  (Scheduler, that is...not the Calendar! ) Check out this page and the few that follow it:  How do I add a Scheduler appointment group in a course calendar?  (Click the Next Topic link at the bottom to move on to the next page.) 

You said "before they come to class," though. If you've not met with them yet at all as an instructor, I would highly recommend you supply them with their own documentation on how they sign up for an appointment, which starts here: How do I sign up for a Scheduler appointment in the Calendar?  This might very well be the first time they've had to use it.
