As part of my course verification and quality assurance, assessors ask to see a random selection of individual students’ entire course work and assignments. Is there a way as the tutor to export, print or download all of the work produced by an individual student. I am aware of E-portfolios but they are produced by students from cherry picked work and are not produced by tutors? I also don’t want to have to export dozens of individual assignments and pick out individual student’s work only to then have to put all of the assignments together as a portfolio for an individual student. Any solution has to be capable of being completed by the course tutor.
Any help would be kindly received.
The only way I can suggest is through speedgrader, one assignment at a time. You will at least be able to download only the individual student's submission, instead of a zip file from the entire class. There may be a way to use the API to pull submissions uploaded as a file, or typed into a text box in canvas. However, I do not believe that there is a way to download either discussion posts, or quiz submissions. Printing is also a problem, because it only prints what fits on your screen. For long quizzes, it is necessary to take multiple screen shots after scrolling the page, because zooming out far enough to hold even an 8 question essay quiz has produced illegible results.

Steve, replied via my mobile but it doesn't see to have sent...
Thanks for your quick reply... I was afraid you were going to say that! I'll have a look at the link you sent and look again at the Speedgrader suggestion. I suppose I could set an end of year assignment for my students to create their own e-portfolios and share them with me?
In the meantime, if any other solutions come to mind, I'm all ears!
Thanks in anticipation,
Jack (England, UK)
