I had experimented with adding myself to my sandbox as a student to try to see Google Cloud assignments from a student perspective (didn't work out that well, however), but now I seem to be unable to delete myself as a student, even after completely resetting my sandbox. When I click on People in the sandbox it seems to think I am just a teacher. But when I click on my name in People, which takes me to my Profile, it lists me as both a student and a teacher:
and when I try to delete myself as a student, I get this message:
Multiple logins and logouts, and I am still listed in my Profile as both a Teacher and a Student. And as a result, I'm getting strange and undesirable Google Drive behavior in my Sandbox. Any ideas what the problem might be?
Thanks much

Hello @RonMumme ...
I'm not sure if you've tried this, but when you go to your "People" page of this course, click on the three dots on the far right side of the row with your name. Then, click "Edit Sections". Do you see two boxes (each with an "X") where you can delete yourself that is currently using one of the roles? If so, this should return you just to the single role you want within this course.
Hope to hear back from you soon, Ron. Take care, stay safe, and be well.
No luck with that approach, either. When I go to Edit Sections I find the two boxes (see image) but neither has an X. Could this be an issue with faculty permissions for our particular instance of Canvas?
Hi @RonMumme ...
Since you do not have the "X" next to either of those, I would suggest that you reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department. They should be able to remove one of those for you. Good luck!
Thanks!
Ron
