[ARCHIVED] Published grades appear as hidden, but cannot be published again

We have a recurring problem with Canvas Gradebook. Some time after a teacher has published grades for a quiz or assignment, they don't appear in the gradebook column. The column is instead grey, as if the grades were hidden. Opening the threedot-menu in the header it is not possible to publish the grades, only to hide them. The grades are visible for the students. We are able to solve the issue by hiding the grades, and then publishing them again, but this gives the students a second notice of the grade (as if it was new). So there is a solution, but we would prefer to avoid the problem in the first place.

Does anyone recognize the problem and have an explaination of why it appears?

Hi @JonasKarlén 

I would advise you to make sure the assignments are not set up as anonymous as the grades wouldn't show on the gradebook. 
But if you continue to experience this, I would advise you to reach out to Canvas Support as you would need to have this investigated by the case. 
You would need to provide them with an active example.

The assignaments are anonymous, but aren't the grades to be visible after they have been published anyway?
