I have read a few opinions on how to import QTI exam format from McGraw-Hill. Nothing has worked, I still get a failed message. The file I download is in XML format. I've tried six times and still get the same message. I am using the classic quizzes.
When I try to ask a question, it also fails.

The McGraw-Hill tech support, Gina, and I spent 20 minutes playing with the file format. You must upload the zip file to Canvas or it won't work. My computer automatically converts zips to other file formats. So, I went back in my files to where the file was still in zip format, dragged it to my desktop, then uploaded it into Canvas. Worked!
Hi @mpatterson, did you extract the files after downloading the QTI format? To import a QTI file successfully, you will need to keep the zip file intact without extracting the files.

How do I save my McGraw hill files in connect to download then in Canvas?
@JenniferBragg In McGraw Hill is a quiz builder and one of the export options is a QTI. It will export the quiz you build as a QTI file but it will look like a zip file. Do not make any changes to that file (as indicated in this thread) and then use the Canvas import tool to import a QTI.
There may be other ways but I have only seen it work by using the quiz builder tool and exporting.
Hope this helps!
Nick
I will give it a try, Thanks!
