I am looking to create a New Canvas Quiz (similar to the old style) where I can say I want 5 random questions from Bank A, 5 random questions from Bank B, etc. If you were to retake the quiz, you would be assigned a different random set of 5 questions from each bank.
In Classic Quizzes you could make question groups that allowed for this, but I do not see that option in New Quizzes. Suggestions?
I already have banks made in New Quizzes.

For clarification purposes -- there was never any functionality in Classic Quizzes that allowed you to guarantee that students would receive a completely different set of questions with each attempt. There was always the chance that you would receive a question that you had seen before. The same is true for New Quizzes.
This lesson from the Canvas Instructor Guide may explain how to accomplish what you're after with New Quizzes: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26425-how-do-i-add-all-items-or-a-random-set-from-an-item-b...

I am having the exact same issue!! I created my bank in new quizzes, but I now find there is no option to add question groups as there was in classic quizzes. You would think that NEW quizzes would have additional functionality compared to classic quizzes; instead it seems to have fewer options.
You should see the steps for migrating from old quizzes to new quizzes if you used test banks to randomize (or pick 100 of a 150 questions banks, for instance). You have to move each bank to a quiz. Then you have to export the file, reimport it to New Quizzes and move each questions into the bank individually by clicking on the pencit and then clicking item bank (ONE AT A TIME)--there is no bulk move. There is not question groups anymore---basically you cannot pick 100 out of 150 with new quizzes--the quiz has to be what it is (you have to pick 100 questions) and then you can shuffle them. You cannot use new quizzes test banks anyway if you are creating a course blueprint or template because items banks are by instructor instead of course now. So you cannot use test banks even if you want to...at this point. Lets hope they fix it pronto because I have a lot to migrate.

Is this still the case? Is there not an option for a bulk move for these quizzes?
Thanks,
Mike
