How do I edit question banks from previous courses?  Mine only say "view"

Thanks, but in the "Content Type" field, I do not see any viable option, other than "Copy a Canvas course."  Then when I choose the radio button for "import specific content," I don't see an option to select which piece of content that I want to import.  I only want the question banks.

Hi  @emily_mathias ‌,

If your previous courses have been concluded they may be in a read-only state, so you won't be able to edit the question banks in the previous course. You could use the Course Import Tool (as described in this lesson https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13101-4152497985 ) to import the banks to your new course and edit them. I hope this helps!

Hi again,  @emily_mathias ‌. After you select "Copy a Canvas Course" are you able to select your previous course? If so, you will then select the "Import specific content" option and then you should be able to select your question banks after you click the Import button.

Thank you so much Emily!  I was just nervous to choose "Import content" into my course, because I didn't want to import the whole course into my new course, gah!  But after you explained that I could choose which content to import, AFTER I click the import button, it gave me the courage to click the button, LOL.  They need to change the order of that, gees!
