After an outage on September 1, the Instructure Community is now fully available, including guides, release notes, forums, and groups. If some styling still looks unusual, clear your cache and cookies.
There are at least 3 different formats for viewing quiz stats:
1. Question Breakdown
2. Student Analysis
3. Item Analysis
The first does not give the question ID numbers; the other two give the ID numbers, but each gives them in a different order. Furthermore, when editing the quiz the IDs are not visible.
How do we tell which problem from the quiz goes with which ID number? And what if there are problem groups - how do we tell then which IDs correspond to a particular group?

Hi @dabrowsa
This has been a problem with Canvas since day-one, and since well before quiz stats became available.
You could create a new Idea Conversation for this functionality in this community, but you can only request it for New Quizzes, because development has stopped for the legacy Quizzes tool.
I did a quick review of Idea Conversation, and did find an existing idea you might like to support at: Quizzes.Next: Question numbers for Quiz Item Analysis
Good luck,
Kelley

Well the stats are almost useless without being able to tell which question is which.
